Volunteer at WordCamp Brighton 2016

Update: Thank you to everyone who has volunteered! We now have lots of people to help at WordCamp Brighton so won’t be taking any more applications this year.

We’d love you to join us as a volunteer at the first WordCamp Brighton. We’re looking for a team of friendly people to help make the weekend awesome.

Why volunteer?

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the WordPress community.

You’ll get to join our team of Brighton organisers and gain an insight into how WordCamps are run.

You’ll also be invited to the Speakers and Organisers Dinner at one of Brighton’s top restaurants: Silo.

Together, we can put on an awesome event that runs smoothly and is lots of fun.

How you can help

We need a range of roles filled. Take a look at all the areas you could participate in below:

Registration and swag

You’ll be the welcoming and registering attendees. We have some cool swag to give out, so you’ll be very popular!

Room monitor and microphone runner

Ensuring attendees can access the speaking rooms and whizzing round with a mic during the Q&As.

Time keeper

Making sure the event runs like clockwork.

Green room guard

Keeping an eye on the room used by speakers and organisers.

Hall monitor

Helping attendees move around the building.

Photographers

Help us capture the first ever WordCamp Brighton.

How do I sign up?

You’ll be contributing to what is set to be a fantastic event, so get in touch using the form below and see how you can help.

You can tell us about any skills, interests or experience you have but no experience is needed to apply.

All volunteers will get a free ticket to WordCamp Brighton.

If you’ve already got your ticket, don’t worry, we can refund this for you.
